Biography

Professor Parco Siu is a Professor and Head of the Division of Kinesiology at School of Public Health and Assistant Dean (Well-being) of the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong. He obtained his PhD training in exercise physiology at West Virginia University School of Medicine followed by postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School. Professor Siu has published 145 peer-reviewed papers, comprising research articles in top-tier journals including BMJ, Annals of Internal Medicine, Nature Communications, Lancet Digital Health, Lancet Child and Adolescent Health, JAMA Pediatrics, and British Journal of Sports Medicine. According to Clarivate Analytics, Professor Siu has been listed as a top 1% cited scholars worldwide from 2019 to 2025.
