Abstract and Presentation Requirement
Submission
- Authors are requested to submit original work, not previously published, on any of the topics in the disciplines: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Education, Health/Sports Science, Linguistics, Languages, and Culture and Psychology. You may refer to the section “Proposed Topic / Strands” for details.
- The abstract should be structured with the research problem, objectives, methods used, key findings, and implications.
- Abstracts for both review studies and empirical studies are welcome, whether for completed research or ongoing ones.
- We also welcome abstract submissions on theoretical/conceptual papers, including literature reviews and ongoing research projects.
- Abstracts should be submitted via the online registration system. Please complete the online registration form and upload your abstract in the form of MS word file (doc, docx).
- Abstracts must be in ENGLISH with no more than 300 words. Abstracts written in other languages will not be accepted.
- Graphics and photos should not be included in the abstracts. We reserve the right to reject the abstracts which do not fulfil our requirements.
- Academic integrity is of utmost importance, so please avoid plagiarism. Any abstracts found to be potentially plagiarized will be rejected immediately.
- All abstracts will be checked for plagiarism using the Turnitin tool. Plagiarism is not tolerated and should any abstracts be found to contain excessive plagiarism, it will immediately be rejected.
- Deadline for Submission: 30 April 2026
Acceptance
- Confirmation of Acceptance will be sent via email around the end of May or June 2026.
- The copyright of the selected abstracts will be owned by the Graduate School of EdUHK once they are accepted.
Presentation
- Oral presentation will be conducted in English.
- Presenters are expected to make a 10-minute oral presentation and will be followed by a 5-minute discussion with the panel chairs and delegates.

Guidelines for Outstanding Paper Award
Since 2016, IPRRFSS/IPCRF has been running an award scheme to
- Recognise the efforts of participants who have submitted full papers;
- The originality of their research ideas; and
- Encourage participants to contribute to the research in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Education, Health/Sports Science, Linguistics, Languages, Culture, and Health Science, and Psychology.
Eligibility
Postgraduate students who have registered for a presentation and have submitted a full unpublished research paper to IPCRF 2026.
Language
English (5,000 – 6,000 words without references)
Specific writing guidelines
- Style and formatting according to your respective discipline practices
- Times New Roman, 12 point, double-spaced, no hyphenation
- Title: Informative summary of the paper
- Authors: List the name(s) of the author(s), affiliation, and contact information (email address). If the paper is written by more than one author, the applicant must be the first author
- Abstract (maximum 250 words): An adequate summary of the paper
- Keywords: 3 to 5 keywords
Content
- Theoretical background: The theoretical background is illustrated with an adequate literature review. It should show how the problem is grounded, shaped, and directed by theory.
- Aim/research question/hypotheses: The topic of investigation is clear. Hypotheses under investigation should be stated explicitly.
- Method: An adequate description of the methodology is given (sample, design, materials, and procedure).
- Results: Appropriate statistical techniques or qualitative data analyses are used. If the text contains a large number of statistics, consider putting them into tables or figures.
- Discussion: Theoretical or practical implications that can be drawn from the study are identified and discussed.
- Significance: The important contribution or complement the study can make to the field.

- Free conference fees for our alumni, participants nominated by our partner universities, and students from EdUHK and local universities
- If your paper is accepted / attendance is confirmed, the payment link will be sent to you at round the end of May and June 2026.

Certificate of Participation
Participants attended 80% or above of the activities (i.e. Opening Ceremony, Keynote Speeches, International Panel Discussion and Alumni Roundtables) will receive a souvenir on the last day of the IPCRF and an e-certificate of participation after IPCRF.
